78th Street Studios - Third Fridays Spotlight : Marcello Mellino

Marcello Mellino is an artist who has a gallery, “IMAGES” Art Gallery, at the art center.

A native of Rome, Italy, Marcello embraced Cleveland and all the city had to offer. He found inspiration here (and still does) before it was known as Believeland, The Land, and most recently, the birthplace of Superman. After a successful career as a cardiologist at Cleveland Clinic, Marcello devotes his time as a photographer, taking pictures of Italy, Florida and Cleveland as well as other places and lovely things.

Marcello’s pictures capture both nature and mood, evoking strong, positive feelings; they are beautiful to behold. “IMAGES” Art Gallery is worth a visit to view this artist’s work and find a photograph, note card or print for a special gift or yourself.
